Steve Chang

Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship; Policy Advisor

Steve Chang is a Policy Advisor for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He focuses on how the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) lending, entrepreneurial development, and contracting programs can best serve minority and underserved populations. He consults with stakeholders, advocacy groups, and small business owners to ensure that SBA programs are meeting their needs.

Steve joined the Small Business Committee in January 2023 and previously worked in the House of Representatives for Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN) as a Legislative Assistant. He received his bachelor’s degree in an interdisciplinary study of Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG) at American University.
