Michele Dugar is both an instructor and a practitioner of marketing, entrepreneurship, and creative problem-solving. She has over 20 years of experience as a business professor at the University of South Carolina and Benedict College, where she also leads the BC Student Innovation Hub, a student consulting agency. Her involvement with students includes a contracted position with the Urban League to recruit students and corporate partners for a new apprenticeship initiative.
As an advisor and advocate, Michele has supported small businesses, non-profits, and national corporations. As an SBA advisor and certified entrepreneurship instructor, she guided many entrepreneurs as they launched and expanded their businesses. As a marketing consultant, her award-winning work included providing strategic plans and creative execution to clients like Wachovia Mortgage and Salvation Army. As a design thinking expert and master workshopper, Michele helps leaders increase innovation and team collaboration within their organizations.
Her own entrepreneurial journey includes launching a consulting agency and consumer product companies that include a tech venture focused on women’s health.
